The 'CC' Factor!

We had a fantastic evening in the parish last night when the internationally renowned organist, Carlo Curley, came to give a concert for us in aid of St Anne's School Building Fund.

Thank you for giving us such an entertaining evening, not just marvellous music but amusing anecdotes and interesting comments about the pieces selected for the programme too.

A lot of people were involved in making the evening such a success, both 'front of house' and behind the scenes and I'm very grateful to everyone for all the help given so enthusiastically. It is always very encouraging to see how a parish can 'pull together' on occasions such as this.

Yes, it was a lovely evening. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard.

Did you think about asking Carlo Curley if he'd like to play a hymn for us in honour of Our Lady at Mass this morning, Fr Míċeál?

That would have been quite something!

Thank you Cindy. Unfortunately, Mr Curley had to leave before our Mass on Saturday.

I too thought it was a wonderful evening and memorable event for St Anns. I agree with you Father that many parishioners used their talents to bring what was quite a large project to fruition!

PVA, the promotional company with whom we had close liasion stated that Carlo had been impressed with the evening, the audience and excellent hospitality he had received.

Many of my friends and family who had come along, not parishioners of St Anns, commented not only on Carlo's performance and personality (of course) but also on the prevailing atmosphere and ambience of the parish. It appears that it was an evening enjoyed by many.
