Preparing for Easter . .

Lent is fast approaching. The season of Lent is a time of preparation for the Great Feast of Easter. The most important thing we should do is to make a good Confession. This is not only desirable but is one of the precepts of the Church: 'You shall confess your sins at least once a year.'

If you haven' t been to Confession for some time and, regrettably, find the idea rather daunting, I hope that you will find this short video very helpful. I think it is excellent and well worth watching.

Next time we'll look at the practicalities - that is, how to go to Confession.

Excwellent video, Father. I may use it on my blog and refer people to what you are going to publish. I think this much-neglected Sacrament prolongs the weakness that many seem to experience .
Very many thanks for posting on that Sacrament.

Thank you for your comment, Father. I'd be very happy for you to link to my blog, anytime.

I agree with you - it's so important that we have regular 'spiritual' check-ups and that we do through the Sacrament.

Thank you Father. I have now used your video on my blog. In my previous post I meant to say that NEGLECT of the Sacrament prolongs weakness.....not that the much-neglected Sacrament prolongs it. Sorry, and renewed thanks.
Best wishes
