May is traditionally known as a month devoted especially to Our Lady. We will have Rosary and Benediction at 4pm here at St Ann's every Sunday during May as has been the custom for many years. Although it is not always easy with today's busy lifestyle for people to find time to come to church on a Sunday afternoon we generally have quite a group of devoted parishioners who turn up, many of them being present for each of the Sundays including a few children which is very encouraging. I am also very pleased that we usually have one or two servers as I know how many other demands there are on families on a Sunday afternoon.
We offer our prayers for a different intention each Sunday and we will begin by praying for the families of our parish this coming Sunday.
